    Academy for Inclusive Learning and Social Growth Scholarship will provide assistance to students enrolled in the Academy for Inclusive Learning and Social Growth.




    Alice Q. Kalafut Endowed Scholarship

    The Alice Q. Kalafut Endowed Scholarship was established to provide scholarships to sophomores, juniors, or seniors in the pursuing an degree (B.S.) in Computer Science and Information Systems. The scholarship will be awarded to a student who demonstrates financial need, is a single parent of one or more children under the age of 19 and must include in the essay how they have overcome extraordinary personal circumstances in pursuit of a college degree.     The Assurant Scholarship Program provides support to"first generation" or "non-traditional " juniors and seniors students who are pursuing a degree in Business Administration degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, International Business, Management, Marketing, or Professional Sales, Communication majors enrolled in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Non-traditional students and former military students should be given preference. Financial Need Based.

    The Assurant Scholarship Program provides support to"first generation" or "non-traditional " juniors and seniors students who are pursuing a degree in Communication enrolled in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences with a minimum 3.0 GPA.     The Atlanta Chapter Tax Executive Institute Scholarship will provide support to one undergraduate student enrolled in the accounting program or one graduate student enrolled in the Master of Accounting Program (Macc) who is enrolled full or part time, has a minimum GPA of 3.0 and has financial need.

    The Atlanta Gas Light Scholarship will provide scholarships to undergraduate students majoring in Engineering/Engineering Technology who are fulltime, Georgia residents, 3.0 minimum GPA and HOPE eligible.  Students must be underserved Hispanic students with financial need.


    Atlanta Steinway Society Endowed Scholarship

    The Atlanta Steinway Society Endowed Scholarship provides support to students pursuing a degree in music in the College of the Arts. Strictly Merit Based


    Atlanta Telecom Professionals Scholarship

    The Atlanta Telecom Professionals Scholarship will provide support to students in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology (ECET) department majoring in TCET, CpET, or EET. Student must be be a junior or senior, enrolled in ECET 3400 or ECET 3810 will have extra consideration with a minimum 3.0 GPA, The Atlanta Telecom Professionals is a consortium of Atlanta-area companies providing products and services in the telecommunications field. They chose Southern Polytechnic’s Telecommunications Engineering Technology (TCET) program as the recipient of the proceeds of their annual charity golf tournament with the intent that the money be used to benefit students in that program.     The August C.Krueger Memorial Endowed Scholarship will offer financial support to students pursuing a degree in STEM(Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) Education. Deserving students pursuing degrees in biology, biotechnology, biochemistry, chemistry, computer science, mathematics and statistics and physics will also be considered. Merit Based

    Barnett Endowed Scholarship- Marietta Campus

    The Barnett Endowed Scholarship for the Marietta Campus will provide assistance to undergraduate or graduate students in the College of Architecture and Construction Management, College of Computing and Software Engineering or College Engineering and Engineering Technology.


    Barry and Sylvia Hyman Endowed Art Scholarship

    The purpose of the Barry and Sylvia Hyman Endowed Art Scholarship is to provide financial support to students properly enrolled in the College of the Arts at Kennesaw State University pursuing a degree in the School of Art and Design.  Student must be full time with a minimum GPA of 3.0
     


    Barry and Sylvia Hyman Endowed International Education Scholarship

    The Barry and Sylvia Hyman Endowed International Education Scholarship was established in honor of Dr. E. Howard Shealy for his years of exceptional service to the study abroad program in Montepulciano, Italy. The scholarship will provide assistance to students properly enrolled in the Global Fellows Program, or other 'first-year' programs at Kennesaw State University, pursuing a degree in any major and who desire to study abroad.  Enrolled full or part time with a minimum 3.0 GPA.


    Bartow County Service Scholarship

    The Bartow County Service Scholarship provides support to students who are residents of Bartow County, who demonstrate financial need, and have performed community service for a non-profit organization in Bartow County. If student is awarded scholarship they must perform a minimum of 40 hours of community service per semester. Financial need.

    The Betty Zola Murdock Memorial Scholarship provides support to female students who are single mothers pursuing a degree in communication. Merit based.




    Billy A. and Ila Kicklighter Pinyan Endowed Scholarship-Marietta Campus

    The Billy A. and Ila Kicklighter Pinyan Endowed Scholarship will provide assistance to students from Cherokee or Pulaski counties with need as determined by the Office of Financial Aid.  If no students are available from those counties in a given year a student from any Georgia country can be selected.  Need Based.

    The purpose of the Board of the Center for Young Adult Addiction and Recovery Scholarship is to provide scholarships to deserving students who are accepted and actively participating in the Center for Young Adult Addiction and Recovery with one year or more of verified sustained recovery from addiction prior to applying for the scholarship.     CarMax Auto Finance Analytics Scholarship

    The purpose of the fund is to provide financial assistance to 6 students enrolled in the Master of Science Degree in Applied Statistics (MSAS), or who have declared the undergraduate minor in Applied Statistics and Data Analysis at Kennesaw State University and 6 students pursuing a degree in management from Coles College of Business.  Full time undergraduate students with must be a declared major or minor in Applied Statistics and Data Analysis with a minimum GPA of 2.80.  Merit Based.

    Established by the Center for Young Adult Addicition & Recovery to provide financial assistance to students who are in good standing

    Chantal and Tommy Bagwell Scholarship

    The Chantal and Tommy Bagwell Scholarship will be awarded to full time students with a minimum 3.0 GPA who are entering freshmen, sophomores and entering graduate students with a declared major in the Bagwell College of Education, Coles College of Business, WellStar College of Health and Human Services, or College of Science and Mathematics. The scholarship will be renewable if the student continues to meet the criteria; freshmen four years, sophomores three years, graduates two years.     College of Science and Mathematics Veterans Scholarship

    College of Science and Mathematics Veterans Scholarship provides support to an outstanding and deserving student who demonstrate excellence in a field of science or mathematics and have an affiliation with the United States Military either through his or her past or present service, or an immediate family member’s service.  This scholarship is dedicated as a tribute in memory of Dr. Combs’ father, Lt. Col. Leon Lamar Combs, who served admirably in WWII achieving many awards including the Bronze Star.  Student must be enrolled full time with a minimum GPA of 3.0, In active duty in the U.S.A. military, received an honorable discharge from that service or is currently in an active reserve role in the U.S military, or immediate family member who is in active duty in the U.S.A. military, received an honorable discharge from that service or is currently in an active reserve role in the U.S. military and submit one letter of support from a department chair, professor, or community leader who can attest to the student’s scholarship and character is required to be submitted with the application.

    The Construction Management IFMA Atlanta Chapter Annual Scholarship  will provide assistance to students majoring in Construction Management.  The students must have completed at least two courses in Facilities Management cencentration area at udnergraduate or graduate level.


    Construction Management Industry Advisory Board Annual Scholarship

    The Construction Management Industry Advisory Board Annual Scholarship will provide assistance to students majoring in Construction Management.  The scholarship will be based on GPA, major, performance curricular and extracurricular activities. 4 scholarships awarded annually.


    Construction Management Scholarship-Golden Hammer Endowed Scholarship

    The Golden Hammer Endowed Scholarship will provide support to undergraduate or graduate students seeking a degree in Construction Management.  Students must be full time and exhibit participation in construction related  activities and contraction organizations. The scholarships is equally funded by the Professional Construction Estimators Association (PCEA) and the American Society of Professional Estimators (ASPE) Atlanta Chapters Scholarship Scholarships are awarded based on service to the profession, extracurricular activities, and merit.

    The Thomas T. Flagler and T. Thorne Flager, III, Construction Scholarship will assist students majoring in Construction Management.


    Construction Management- Toy-Mench Endowed Scholarship

    The Toy-Mench Endowed Scholarship will provide assistance to two full time students.  One scholarship will be awarded to a student pursuing a MS or BS degree in Construction Management, completed one course in either Specialty or Facility Management and is currently enrolled in another of the same concentrations with a minimum GPA of 2.8.  One scholarship will  be awarded to a student who has completed 4 Construction Management courses and has a minimum GPA of 3.0.  Merit Based. 2 scholarships awarded annually.


    Construction Management-Greater Atlanta Electric League Scholarship

    The Greater Atlanta Electric League Scholarship will provide assistance to students majoring in Construction Management.  Junior, Senior or Sophomore students must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and completed a minimum of 30 hours at KSU.


    Courtney Ainsley Parkins II Endowed Scholarship

    The Courtney Ainsley Parkins II Endowed Scholarship has been established by Courtney A. Parkins and Cynthia Parkins in honor of their son wo passed away January 1, 2003. Courtney Ainsley Parkins II was pursuing is B.S. degreee in International Affairs at KSU prior to his death. The purpose of the Fund is to provide support to a junior or senior student who with a minimum 3.5 GPA is actively involved in the International Student Association at Kennesaw State University.     The David E. Summers Endowed Scholarship will assist students who are majoring in Electrical Computer Engineering Technology.  Students must be a Georgia resident and a graduate of Georgia high school.  Students must have at least 13 credit hours in ECET with a minimum GPA of 3.0 in all ECET courses.Preference given to students actively involved in campus activities and professional societies, competition teams, athletics, student government or fraternities/sororities and students who are interested in pursuing a career in Georgia.

    The Dobbins Officers Wives Club- Marietta Campus will provide assistance to students have an affiliation with the United States Military either through his or her past or present service, or an immediate family member’s service. Financial need preferred.

    Dolores Peterson-Wise Annual Scholarship

    The Delores Peterson-Wise Annual Scholarship will provide assistance to undergraduate or graduate students  who are attending full or part time pursuing a degree in Math Education with a minimum GPA of 3.0.  It is preferred that the student be from  a socioeconomic disadvantaged or underrepresented county in Georgia and /or an active member of an African American organization at KSU.  If a math education student can not be identified and Bagwell Education major may be considered.

    The purpose of the Dr. Oral L. Moses Endowed Scholarshipis to support students in the College of the Arts who are pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in voice performance. To be eligible for consideration for this merit based scholarship, a student must be enrolled full time with a minimum 3.0 GPA pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in music with a concentration in voice (preferred). A student pursuing a music degree with a concentration in jazz may also be considered. Second prefernce shall be students who are Holy Family Parish members in good standiong or their child or grandchildren.  Third preference shall be students who are good standing members of the Kights of Columbus in the state of Geirgia.     The Homelessness Awareness 20/4/1 Endowed Scholarship was established to provide assistance to make a positive difference in the life of one individual who is homeless or-has been homeless at one time in their life.  The scholarship was established by Lana J. Wachniak and William H. Wallace, Jr. Lana J. Wachniak is a former Professor of Criminal Justice and Sociology at Kennesaw State University. William H. Wallace, Jr. is a former Associate Vice-Chancellor for Human Resources for the University System of Georgia and the former human resources director at Kennesaw State University. Both Lana J.Wachniak and William H. Wallace, Jr. are actively engaged in assisting the homeless and believe that a college degree empowers an individual to succeed in life.  Undergraduate students must be enrolled full or part time, degree seeking, minimum GPA of 2.6 and have financial need verified by the Financial Aid office.

    National Science Foundation Scholarship


    To be eligible to participate and retain the NSF scholarship program students must:
    • Be U.S. citizens, nationals, aliens admitted as refugees, permanent resident aliens;
    • Be enrolled full time in a baccalaureate degree program in one of the STEM disciplines (mathematics, biology, biotechnology, chemistry, biochemistry, computer science) or in a STEM master’s program (applicable only to students already supported by NSF as undergraduate students), as shown in the departmental records;
    • Demonstrate academic potential via a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale;
    • Demonstrate financial need as defined by the U.S. Department of Education (by Cost of Attendance minus Estimated Family Contribution) and indicated by the Office of Student Financial Aid;
    • Be enrolled in a specified first-year learning community, if freshmen;
    • Attend the orientation meeting scheduled in August;
    • Attend classes on a regular basis (at least 80% of all classroom activities);
    • Attend monthly meetings with their academic advisers/NSF faculty/NSF graduate mentors;
    • Participate in at least 3 seminars/talks every semester, selected in consultation with the NSF program directors;

    Sergeant Steven R. Medeiros Endowed Scholarship

    The Sergeant Steven R. Medeiros Endowed Scholarship was established to honor Sergeant Steven R. Medeiros who died on September 26, 2008 when he was involved in an off duty motorcycle accident. The scholarship will assist students whose parent or grandparent (or immediate relative) lost their life while off duty as a member of any police department as in Steven Medeiros's case or an immediate relative of fallen firefighters and, emergency responders or other public safety professionals. A member of the police department whose life is lost while off duty is not entitled to the same financial benefits as family members of police officers killed in the line of duty.
